Peter was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. The son of an Internist and a trauma nurse, Peter brings the knowledge and empathy he developed from that background as well as the years he spent working in a private physicians’ office to the his practice of the law. Peter attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, a highly-regarded magnet high school in Fairfax County, Virginia, that Newsweek rated as first in its 2016 list of America’s Top High Schools.
Peter attended the University of Virginia where he completed an honors major in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law (PPL). Prior to law school, Peter worked as an actuary for the United States Office of Personnel Management, Office of the Actuaries where he negotiated health insurance rates for health plans offered to federal employees through the Federal Employee Health Benefits Program.
Peter received an academic scholarship to attend Washington and Lee University School of Law where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 2011. He began his legal career representing various insurance carriers in cases involving property damage and bodily injury claims. He now brings that experience to the Firms’ representation of insureds, individuals and corporate entities in their various commercial and personal injury disputes. Peter also has civil experience litigating various employment and commercial disputes, as well as wage and hour claims in both state and federal courts.
