Dalyla Santos


Dalyla Santos was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, and raised there until the age of fourteen when she moved to the United States with her parents. Ms. Santos later earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies and Marketing from the University of Central Florida. Upon the completion of her bachelor’s degree, she attended Florida A & M University College of Law and earned her Juris Doctor in December 2008.

While pursuing her law degree, she was a member of the Hispanic American Law Student Association and volunteered for Orange County Teen Court. She also had the opportunity to intern in the areas of Personal Injury, Insurance Defense, and Immigration. Upon completion of her Juris Doctor degree, Ms. Santos was admitted to The Florida Bar in April 2009.

Ms. Santos began her career as an attorney in Orlando, Florida at Kauffman, Englett & Lynd PLLC where her passion for the legal field was greatly fortified. During her time at Kauffman, Englett & Lynd PLLC she was devoted to representing individuals and consumers in a variety of cases including contract disputes, immigration, foreclosures, debt settlements, bankruptcy, debt harassment and insurance disputes. Ms. Santos was quickly promoted to a management position where she supervised multiple attorneys and staff members.

Realizing the need for personalized and reliable legal services Ms. Santos moved to Miami, Florida to join as a partner at Alonso, Perez & Santos, LLP. She now concentrates her practice in foreclosure, insurance litigation, general civil litigation and consumer protection. Ms. Santos finds fulfillment in helping her clients and giving a voice to the voiceless.
